What did MAB Community Services need?

Thow helped MAB Community Services improve their website's functionality by performing updates and/or fixes and educating them on how to resolve minor issues.

Why is this project important?

It is critical that our sites are functioning properly for people looking for information on our services. Also, it is a critical time of the year for us when more people visit our sites to make donations. So we want to be sure there are not issues.

This project will save us $3,757, allowing us to have more to spend on marketing.

What did Thow Chiang have to offer?

I am semi-retired. I have been working with WordPress over last 10 years. Able to handle small site (less than 30 pages) alone. I am fluent in English and Chinese.

I prefer editing of text and images be done by user. I do not use photoshop as it is too time consuming.

About MAB Community Services

MAB Community Services has been working in Massachusetts communities for more than 100 years. Founded in 1903 as the Massachusetts Association for Promoting the Interests of the Adult Blind, MAB was the first social service agency in the United States dedicated to serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Today, MAB's mission has expanded to address the needs of adolescents and adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. We work with individuals with disabilities to eliminate barriers and create opportunities so that they can live independent, full and satisfying lives. Our motto: “With the right support anything is possible!”
